About Quiet Stitchery 🪿🌷

The Quiet Stitchery began as a way to bring together my two greatest loves: animals and comfort. I’ve always been drawn to creating things by hand, but it wasn’t until I picked up sewing that I felt truly at peace. My grandmother, who also sewed, inspired me with her patience and creativity. Now, when I sit down to stitch, I feel that same sense of calm and meaning she carried with her craft.

I’ve explored many creative paths including snowglobe cups, clay art, and small handmade goods, but sewing feels like home. There’s something powerful about holding a finished piece that has been stitched by hand: it carries warmth, care, and intention in every seam. For me, that means creating items that celebrate the bond we share with our pets, their comfort, their joy, their place in our families. I do currently have a family dog who is a pitbull. However, he is not well socialized with other animals and despises clothes, so he will not make an appearance on here often. In July of 2026, I am planning to move to New York City from Florida and once there, I will have Kenzo Kai and Kaia Kenzia joining the family! They are both French Bulldogs and will be the models for The Quiet Stitchery! Stay tuned for their Apartment designs! From cozy blankets and bedroom sets to little wardrobes, every piece is designed with love and the belief that pets deserve spaces and comforts as special as the love they give us.

This shop reflects my love of rainy days, quiet moments, and the happiness of simply being with our animals. Every design is an extension of that feeling, the kind of handmade comfort that turns an ordinary day into something tender and memorable.

My Why

The Quiet Stitchery is not just about handmade goods, it’s also about my future. I’m preparing to move across the country in July 2026 to begin law school, a journey I will take with the hope of creating a better life for myself and the dogs I will welcome into my family there. Until then, I am pouring my heart into this shop as a way to support that next chapter and honor the love I already hold for the animals who have shaped me.

Every blanket stitched, every bandana sewn, every quilt finished is a step toward building both a future for myself and a life filled with comfort for pets everywhere. The profits from this shop directly help me prepare for law school, while also fueling a passion that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Though I am planning to go to law school, I plan to continue to keep my shop open throughout school, so I can maintain my bills throughout law school while also creating products for your family!

Your support means everything whether you purchase a quilt, a cozy item for your pet, or simply share my story. With each stitch, I hope to bring you and your pet a little piece of the warmth, quiet, and love that inspired The Quiet Stitchery in the first place.
